Basic Executive Protection Training
This course is designed for individuals who have little or no experience in the planning and execution of a personal security assignment, weather it be for a VIP, witness or prisoner. The training objectives focus on the essential skills to develop an operational plan in order to execute a demanding final training exercise at a varity of realistic venues. On completion of the course, you will possess the core knowledge and capabilities to operate on a Personal Security Detail.

• Selection / traits of a protection specialist
• Organization of an escort section
• Tactical shooting (pistol)
• Low level protection
• Escort formations
• Attacks on principal drills
• Venue advance surveys
• Route selection / security
• Operations orders
• Arrival / departure drills
• Motorcade drills
• Residential security
• Vehicle / building searches
• Prisoner escort security
• Final training exercise




Equipment requirements:

• Pistol with three magazines and 150 rounds of ammunition
• Hip holster and magazine pouch
• Range training uniform (including jacket or 5.11 type vest)
• Eye and ear protection
• Concealable body armor
• Suit or sports jacket and slacks (no tie) with presentable shoes
• Valid drivers license
• Flashlight
• Work out gear
• Laptop computer / portable printer (optional)
