Our Screening Process
After submission of the above material the company will review the material and contact the applicants who pass this step of selection. Applicants successfully passing each step of selection will be contacted and scheduled for the next step.
The steps are:
Application
Personal interview
Detailed background check.
Physical test for Guards & Agents
1 1/2 mile run
50 push ups
Carry a 25 pound plate for 50 yards
Pass all Tactical training with no less then an 85%
Physical test for Protection Specialists
2 1/2 mile run
100 push ups
Carry a 75 pound plate for 100 yards
Pass all specialize tactical training with no less then an 95%
Once applicants have submitted all necessary documents, passed the oral interview and physical assessments; all applicants must complete a written test administered by NIA, and pass with a score of at least 90%. These tests are given in series, Basic Security Aptitude test 1 and Advanced Security Aptitude test 2. Written tests are also given for each Specialty Service, ex: Fugitive Recovery, SORT, etc.
NIA requires each applicant to take and pass a thorough drug test. Failure to pass the required drug test will result in immediate dismissal and will be unable to reapply to our organization indefinitely, no exceptions.
Once an applicant has successfully completed the rigorous screening process, the new Agent will begin the Orientation process. Every new Agent is educated in Company policies and procedures, advanced training requirements, career advancement, rank structure, wages, dress codes, attendance, reasons for disciplinary action, etc.
